Mrs. Herlena O. Washington​

 

Since our founding in 2014, Mrs. Herlena O. Washington has developed and grown Christ Sanctuary Ministries in such a positive impactful direction. Herlena O. Washington is the President and Administrator for Christ Sanctuary Ministries (CSM), Incorporated, a non-profit public charity. Christ Sanctuary Ministries is a 501(c)(3) that serves in the areas of service, travel, social, charity, religion, and education. The organization’s mission ministry is to organize, encourage, and educate through mentoring, military initiatives, financial guidance, scholarships, healthy living, toys, food donations, social and card amenities, and helping with dream-making through advocacy, research, donation, and service.

Mrs. Washington holds an Advanced Certification as a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor. She is a Licensed National Christian Counselor, and she belongs to the Board of Christian Certified Life Coaching. Mrs. Herlena Washington is the Community Chairperson for the National Naval Officers Association and she accepted the Positively Jax Award - September 2020. Herlena was honored at the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Baseball game in June 2021, for all of her community service accomplishments. Mrs. Washington was honored to be inducted into the Veterans Hall of Fame - 2018 by Governor Rick Scott, at the Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida, for her military accomplishments and community service.  Mrs. Herlena Washington was one of the honorees at Jacksonville City Hall for the month of November 2021 for all of her military accomplishments and community service. She was honored on the 28th November 2021 as one of the recipients from the Jacksonville Veterans Hall of Fame honored at the Jaguars vs Falcons game for all her community service and military accomplishments. 

 

Mrs. Herlena Washington holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, She holds a Doctorate in Ministerial Education & Evangelism from Truth Bible College, She holds a Master of Science in Management from Troy State University, She holds a BA, from the University of Oregon in Community Service and Public Affairs, she holds an Associate Degree from the Community College of the Air Force in Administrative Management, and she holds an Associate Degree from Lincoln College in Community Service.
